Following the imminent sale of Alessandro Circati to Benfica, Parma is searching for a defensive reinforcement and is now interested in signing Diego Carlos. The 33-year-old Brazilian central defender is currently with Fenerbahçe, having joined in January 2025, and spent last season on loan at Como. Como has been working for some time to sign him permanently from the Turkish club, but an agreement has not yet been reached. His contract is valid until June 2028 and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €5.00m. Recent reports from July 2026 state Como made a €3 million offer for the player, which was rejected, after having communicated a potential payment of €7 million in June 2026.
