Blackburn Rovers, managed by Valerien Ismael, are assessing Barnsley's English and Scottish attacker Davis Keillor-Dunn and sent scouts to observe him during an FA Cup match against Liverpool. According to Football Insider, the club is considering a move for the 28-year-old before the transfer deadline on February 2nd. They could face competition from league rivals Middlesbrough and Preston North End, both of whom are also targeting promotion to the Premier League. In the current League One season, Keillor-Dunn has scored 11 goals and provided 1 assist in 21 appearances. He joined Barnsley in August 2024, and his contract with the club runs until June 2027. Reports from January 2026 state that Barnsley have placed a valuation of more than £5 million on the forward. His current Transfermarkt market value is €1.20m.
