David Strelec, Middlesbrough's 25-year-old centre-forward, has attracted interest from clubs including Everton and Nottingham Forest. The Slovakia international has 38 caps and 10 goals for his country and has performed well in recent weeks. It is believed the interested teams could attempt to sign him if Boro do not achieve promotion. Strelec joined Middlesbrough in September 2025, with his contract running until June 2030. His transfer from Slovan Bratislava was for a reported €7.5 million. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €7.5 million.
