Chelsea have secured Conrad Harder after their sister club Strasbourg signed the striker on loan from RB Leipzig until the end of the 2026/2027 season. The deal does not include a purchase option. BlueCo has been following the 21-year-old since his time at Nordsjaelland. The player has 13 caps and 4 goals for Denmark's U21 team. The forward was previously linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge in early 2025 while he was at Sporting CP. According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea has been interested in him for years. The transfer follows a difficult spell for Harder at the Bundesliga club, which had signed him for €24 million the previous summer, and the loan allows BlueCo to assess whether he can still fulfil his potential. Transfermarkt lists Harder's current market value at €17.00m. His transfer from Nordsjælland to Sporting CP in September 2024 was for a reported €19 million. While at the Portuguese club in January 2025, reports linked Chelsea with a potential move valued between €42 million and €50 million.
