It is reported that both Manchester City and Manchester United are eager to finalise a deal for Christ Inao Oulai.

Manchester United have again contacted the representatives of Christ Inao Oulai, a 19-year-old midfielder for Trabzonspor. Manager Ruben Amorim has endorsed the pursuit and considers the player a key long-term investment. Manchester City, who are described as the frontrunners, and Bayern Munich are also interested in the player. There has been recent outreach to Oulai's representatives. A January transfer is considered unlikely because of Trabzonspor's position. The Turkish club has a valuation for the Ivorian international that exceeds €40m. His contract is valid until 2030. Oulai joined Trabzonspor in August 2025. In nine Süper Lig appearances this season, he has scored two goals and provided three assists. He has been capped twice by the Ivory Coast. According to Transfermarkt, his current estimated market value is €4.00m.
