Getafe are competing for Viktoria Plzeň's 23-year-old French-Guinean midfielder Cheick Souaré and had a €2.5m offer rejected. Italian clubs Genoa and Monza are also showing interest, alongside Celtic. It is reported that Plzeň's asking price for the player is in the range of €3.5m to €4m. Souaré, who has been capped by France at U16 level, joined the Czech club in July 2024 and his contract is valid until 2027. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €3.5m.
