West Ham United are reportedly targeting Charlie Cresswell, a 23-year-old English defender at Toulouse, as they plan to invest in their defence this January and intend to use the full transfer fee from the sale of Nayef Aguerd. A source confirmed to Claret & Hugh that Cresswell is one of the club's targets, but stated that Everton are also interested and that a relegation clause could be an issue. Cresswell's contract with the French club runs until 2028 and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €12.00m.
