Leeds United are looking for younger strikers to compete with Calvert-Lewin this summer and are interested in Levante forward Carlos Espí. The 21-year-old Spaniard scored 13 goals in 27 games during the previous season. Espí joined Levante in July 2024, has a contract until June 2028, and has been capped twice for Spain's U20 team. The forward has also attracted interest from other clubs, including Lazio, Bologna, and Ipswich Town. His current Transfermarkt market value is €20 million. Multiple reports in July 2026 confirmed a €25 million release clause in his contract, and it was also reported that Ipswich Town was willing to pay this amount.
