English clubs, including Newcastle and Everton, previously had interest in the 22-year-old Croatian central midfielder Petar Sučić. Inter's situation has now changed, making a sale possible for a good compensation fee, while the player would be willing to seek a move if his playing time does not improve. Recent reports from August 2026 stated Inter was seeking a fee between €65 million and €70 million for Sučić.
