Callum Lang Transfer from Portsmouth to Preston North End
According to the Lancashire Evening Post, Preston North End have renewed their interest in Portsmouth's 27-year-old English winger Callum Lang. The club had previously pursued Lang in the summer, when a £2m bid was rejected and a transfer did not happen. The Lancashire Evening Post states that Preston's admiration has not diminished and Paul Heckinbottom’s side continues its pursuit. Lang is entering the final six months of his contract, although Portsmouth holds an option to extend it by 12 months. Manager John Mousinho is eager to use this option, but Preston North End may attempt to persuade Portsmouth to sell the player. In the Championship this season, Lang has scored two goals in eight appearances. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €3.00m.
