Liverpool's sporting director Richard Hughes is competing with Brentford, Bournemouth, and Brighton & Hove Albion for Nordsjaelland's 20-year-old Ghanaian midfielder, Caleb Yirenkyi. The transfer is expected to cost around £22m. Liverpool has reportedly made contact with the player's representatives. In the 2025/2026 Superliga season, Yirenkyi has 2 goals and 5 assists in 21 appearances.
