Brian Brobbey is attracting interest from Tottenham. Former Sunderland chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that the club would naturally prefer to keep Brobbey, but a sufficiently large bid could force a difficult decision. Brown said that he thinks Sunderland would find it difficult to reject a huge offer from a club like Tottenham. One report has suggested Sunderland could value Brian Brobbey at around £50m.

According to fussballdaten, scouts from Aston Villa, Chelsea, Man Utd and Tottenham have all been watching Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey this season.

Tottenham is one of several Premier League clubs interested in Sunderland striker and Netherlands international Brian Brobbey following his performances for the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup. Sunderland faces increasing difficulty in retaining the 24-year-old, who joined the club in September 2025. Juventus, Atletico Madrid, and Stuttgart are also reportedly monitoring his progress. Other English teams, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Aston Villa, are also believed to be considering an approach. Despite the interest, Sunderland, which has qualified for the Europa League, is adamant it will not sell the striker, who is under contract until 2029. The club has not set an asking price and no official offers have yet been made. In the 2025/2026 Premier League season, Brobbey made 31 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 1 assist. He has 14 caps and 3 goals for the Netherlands, and Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €30.00m.
