Moncada is an 18-year-old Honduran striker for FC Lugano who has scored five goals since his summer transfer. Wolverhampton had previously shown interest in Moncada during the summer, before he chose to move to the Super League. Club Necaxa is also familiar with the player, as the club shares ownership with his former Colombian team, Internacional de Bogotá. No concrete discussions have been started by any interested party, and it is expected that Moncada will finish the current season at Lugano, where he holds a five-year contract. The club's long-term goal for the player is to generate a transfer fee of over ten million euros. The Honduras international has four senior caps for his country. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €2.50m.
