Bono Transfer from Al Hilal to Sevilla
Sevilla had hoped to bring the 34-year-old Moroccan international Yassine Bounou back to Spain in 2026, which was when his contract in Saudi Arabia was set to expire. The goalkeeper previously played for the Spanish club from 2019 to 2023 before moving to Al Hilal for a fee of around 20 million euros. Al Hilal has now officially announced that Bounou's contract has been renewed until 2028. The player has chosen to continue his career in the Middle East for at least another three years. This decision was made after Al Hilal significantly improved his contract, increasing his salary from an initial 5 million net to a more substantial figure, despite his emotional connection to Sevilla. The player had also been linked with Manchester City. His current market value is estimated at €5.5 million, according to Transfermarkt.
