Bojan Miovski Transfer from Girona to Rangers

Former Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski has joined the list of strikers on Rangers' rumour mill. Reports in North Macedonia suggest a move to Rangers is on the cards. Miovski endured a tough debut season with Girona, scoring just four times in 21 matches, and the club is open to a sale. Sporting director Quique Carcel has warned that they won't let Miovski leave for less than the £6.8 million paid for his signature, due to La Liga's spending rules.

Rangers are reportedly chasing a deal for Girona striker Bojan Miovski amid their escalating striker search. The striker was previously on Celtic's radar before his big money move to Spain and Macedonian outlet Gol now credit Russell Martin's side with an interest in the 26-year-old claiming an offer is being "lined up".

Rumors have circulated about Bojan Miovski potentially returning to Scotland, with either Celtic or Rangers as possible destinations. However, Scott Burns pointed out that Rangers seem to be a less likely option compared to Celtic. Miovski, who is currently with Girona, had a challenging debut season in Spain, managing to score only four goals. Despite this, his previous success in the Scottish Premiership, where he netted 30 times in 68 appearances for Aberdeen, has sparked interest. Burns emphasized that Celtic have demonstrated greater interest in Miovski, and with their financial resources, they might pursue a deal before the transfer window closes. In the meantime, Miovski remains focused on securing his position at Girona, and his past relationship with Russell Martin, who had previously declined to sign him for Southampton, could also play a role in his decision-making.
