Bobby Clark Transfer from Red Bull Salzburg to Celtic
A report from The Times claims that Bobby Clark is set to join Brendan Rodgers’ side for a transfer fee of €6.9 million (£6m) during the January transfer window. John Eustace stated that the report about Celtic was the first he had heard of it and that it was interesting, but they certainly do not want to lose him. Eustace also said it is great that big clubs like Celtic can show interest in him and that they certainly do not want him to go anywhere.
Former Liverpool and English youth international Bobby Clark is reportedly on the verge of signing for Celtic from Red Bull Salzburg. According to The Times, Brendan Rodgers is close to acquiring the versatile midfielder for £6 million in January, as Clark is seeking a permanent transfer away from the Austrian club. The 20-year-old had moved to Salzburg from Anfield for £10 million in the summer of 2024 to join his former coach Pep Ljinders, and subsequently returned to Britain for a loan spell with Derby County. Clark's contract with Salzburg runs until 2029, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €4.50m. Several other clubs, including Newcastle United and his former loan club Derby County, had also been linked with the player.
