According to a report from Fanatik, Fenerbahçe is interested in signing 23-year-old Turkish centre-forward Bertuğ Yıldırım as part of a strategy to enhance its domestic player options. The report states the club is expected to start official discussions with the player's club by the weekend. It is also reported that Başakşehir is demanding a transfer fee of €15 million for Yıldırım, who is one of three Super Lig players that are targets for Fenerbahçe.
