Racing Santander is monitoring 28-year-old Turkish midfielder Berkan Kutlu, who seems likely to decide his future only after it is determined which division the club will play in next season. Espanyol is also interested in the midfielder and has reportedly made contact again with his agent, Burak Kutu. A previous attempt to sign him last summer was not successful, when a reported €1 million offer with a €2 million purchase option was rejected. Kutlu has 8 caps for Türkiye. He joined Konyaspor from Galatasaray in January, and the transfer was reportedly for no fee. In June, he will have the option to either renew his contract or become a free agent. A transfer could be complicated by Galatasaray's previous demands for his registration, which were reportedly around €4.5 million and had previously prevented negotiations from proceeding. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.00m.
