According to Turkish outlet Sabah, Arsenal are interested in left winger Baris Alper Yilmaz and will negotiate with Galatasaray for a deal at the end of the season. The report also states that Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta attended Galatasaray’s 3-0 win over Fenerbahce, during which Yilmaz scored a penalty. Berta is said to have rated Yilmaz highly. Last summer, a €35m (£30m) bid from the Saudis for the Turkish international was unsuccessful. It has been reported that Arsenal will need to pay €50m (£43m) to secure an agreement with Galatasaray.

Baris Alper Yilmaz has eight goals and ten assists this season while playing as a left winger and striker, a profile Arsenal are hoping to recruit this summer to strengthen their attacking options.
