Everton is one of the clubs interested in signing Hungarian goalkeeper Balazs Toth, who is the first-choice goalkeeper at Blackburn Rovers. The 28-year-old has one year remaining on his contract, which expires in the summer of 2027. Journalist Alan Nixon has revealed that Blackburn will begin contract negotiations with the player for a new deal with a substantial pay increase. Nixon also reported that if a new agreement is not reached, Blackburn will seek to sell the goalkeeper this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer. Toth has six caps for Hungary. He joined Blackburn Rovers in August 2024 for a reported fee of €1.2 million and has a current market value of €700k, according to Transfermarkt.
