It is suggested that West Ham should approve a loan departure for 20-year-old English goalkeeper Finlay Herrick this winter to ensure he can gain more experience. It is stated that most signs indicate a second loan departure from the club in a few months. Herrick, who has two caps for England U20, would benefit from a temporary departure to either League One or League Two to aid his development. He previously had a loan spell at Boreham Wood last year and made 10 appearances for the National League club. Herrick's contract with West Ham is valid until June 2028.
