It is believed that Millwall are leading the pursuit of Sheffield Wednesday's 20-year-old Jamaican international forward, Bailey Cadamarteri, and it is reported that they are preparing a bid. Millwall face competition from clubs including Blackburn Rovers, Swansea City, Charlton Athletic, and Stoke City. Other interested parties include Luton Town, Wycombe Wanderers, and Mansfield Town. Hibernian also remain interested after having a low offer rejected earlier in the month. It was reported that the rejected offer from Hibernian was around £250,000. Due to financial issues, Sheffield Wednesday are open to a sale before the transfer deadline. The Star reports that offers between £750,000 and £1 million would be considered for the player, whose contract runs until 2028. Cadamarteri has scored two goals in 26 Championship appearances this season and, according to Transfermarkt, has a current market value of €800k.
