The Japanese international has 38 caps and 16 goals for his country and is being monitored by an increasing number of Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, for a potential summer transfer. The increased interest follows a campaign in which Ueda has scored 26 goals in all competitions. In addition to their general tracking, Tottenham are also thought to have conducted background work on the player. Ueda joined Feyenoord in August 2023 from Cercle Brugge for a fee reported to be €9.0M, and his contract is set to expire in 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €15.00m.
