According to The Yorkshire Post, Everton is in the leading position to sign Ayase Ueda and is preparing a bid. Everton initially intends to offer between 21 and 23 million euros, but Feyenoord wants an amount between 30 and 35 million euros. The price could increase depending on Ueda's performance at the upcoming World Cup. If Everton cannot reach an agreement with Feyenoord, an opportunity could be created for other clubs.

According to Voetbalprimeur.nl, Everton is interested in Ayase Ueda, and a transfer fee of around fifteen million euros is expected to be sufficient for the transfer.

Everton are understood to have sent representatives to watch Feyenoord striker Ayase Ueda play this season, and Leeds United and Brighton have also reportedly sent scouts to observe the 27-year-old. The Japanese international has 38 caps and 16 goals for his country and is being monitored by an increasing number of Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, for a potential summer transfer. The increased interest follows a campaign in which Ueda has scored 26 goals in all competitions. In addition to their general tracking, Tottenham are also thought to have conducted background work on the player. Ueda joined Feyenoord in August 2023 from Cercle Brugge for a fee reported to be €9.0M, and his contract is set to expire in 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €15.00m.
