Insider Nicolo Schira reported that Fiorentina is interested in Chelsea's defender, Axel Disasi, who is ready to leave the club soon.

According to Sky Sport, Fiorentina is searching for a new defender and is considering Axel Disasi from Chelsea. In recent weeks, Milan and Roma had also shown interest in the player. Chelsea acquired Disasi from Monaco three years ago for 45 million euros, and he has a contract with the English club until 2029. Disasi is reportedly not part of Chelsea's plans. From tomorrow, there will be more clarity about the possibility of the transfer and whether the defender is open to a move to Fiorentina.

Fiorentina are expected to shift their focus to Axel Disasi if a deal for Acheampong proves difficult. Axel Disasi is no longer a preferred player at Chelsea and has not been included in the first-team setup this season. It is reported that Chelsea are willing to consider offers for him in January. Disasi cost Chelsea around £38 million in 2023.
