Attila Szalai leaves Hoffenheim and returns to Turkey to play for Kasımpaşa for the 2025/26 season on loan. The decision was explained by Andreas Schicker, Hoffenheim's sporting director, who mentioned that due to strong competition in the squad, they could not guarantee Szalai playing time. A loan to Turkey was seen as the best solution. Szalai has always behaved exemplary, putting the team and club first, despite difficulties.

Kasımpaşa has made an official offer for Hoffenheim's Hungarian defender Attila Szalai, who previously played for Fenerbahçe. His current market value is 1.7 million Euro, and his contract with Hoffenheim expires in 2027.
