Artem Dovbyk Transfer from Roma to Leeds United
Leeds United are reportedly very interested in acquiring Artem Dovbyk from Roma. According to the Italian press, Roma are willing to sell Dovbyk if their asking price of €35m is met. Dovbyk, who joined Roma last summer after an impressive stint with Girona, is facing competition for his position following the loan signing of Evan Ferguson from Brighton. The 28-year-old Ukrainian striker made the move to Roma after a stellar season at Girona, scoring 24 goals and aiding the team in securing a spot in the Champions League. Despite netting 17 times in 45 appearances for Roma, Dovbyk's performances have been met with mixed reactions from the fans, sparking discussions about his future at the club. Leeds, looking to strengthen their offensive line after failing to sign Igor Paixao, have identified Dovbyk as a prime target among other promising options. Although there is interest from other teams such as West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Besiktas, Leeds remain eager to add the 122-goal striker to their roster as they prepare for their Premier League comeback.
