Antony Transfer from Manchester United to São Paulo
Antony, a 25-year-old winger, reportedly received an offer from São Paulo but declined it, expressing his interest in joining Real Betis on a permanent basis. The Brazilian, who spent the latter half of the season on loan at Real Betis, left a positive impression on the Spanish club with his performances. While Real Betis has not yet reached an agreement with Manchester United, Antony is said to be determined to return to the Spanish side, having also rejected offers from Botafogo and a Saudi Arabian club. His preference for Real Betis is attributed to his successful period there, where he played a crucial role in helping the team reach the UEFA Europa Conference League final, and his wish to continue playing under coach Manuel Pellegrini. Antony remains contracted to Manchester United until June 2027, with a current market value of €35 million as stated by Transfermarkt, a decline from his peak value of €75 million in 2022.
