LaLiga team Sevilla has shown interest in Göztepe's 21-year-old Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis, whose name had also been linked with Galatasaray. While German club Leipzig reportedly made the first approach for the player, Sevilla's management is said to have contacted the Sport Republic company. It is understood that Sevilla will begin official negotiations during the mid-season transfer window and is insistent on the transfer. Göztepe's management initially set an asking price of 8 million Euros but is now expected to seek a higher fee. Dennis, who joined the Turkish club in July 2023, is under contract until June 2027. In the current Süper Lig season, he has scored 3 goals in 15 appearances. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €5 million.
