According to transfer insider Graeme Bailey, Tottenham want to sign Real Madrid's 26-year-old Ukraine international goalkeeper Andriy Lunin in the January transfer window. Spurs are reportedly seeking a long-term replacement for Guglielmo Vicario. The club has also been informed that Lunin's camp is looking into a possible departure. Real Madrid could be open to an exit for the player in 2026, partly because of exciting prospect Javi Navarro. Lunin joined the club in July 2018 and is under contract until 2030. However, Spurs will face competition for the goalkeeper from Brighton and Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest. Lunin has yet to make an appearance in LaLiga this season. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €15.00m. Recent reports from December 2025 state Real Madrid values the player at €25 million. In the summer of 2025, Manchester United reportedly made a €15 million offer at a time when the asking price was cited as being between €20 million and €30 million.
