A number of top-flight English clubs have been tracking the player and have recently checked on his availability. However, Italian champions Inter Milan are currently the frontrunners, having started negotiations with the Belgian club and submitted an initial offer of €20 million. Sources have confirmed that Union Saint-Gilloise are asking for a fee closer to €30 million. Discussions between the clubs are ongoing. While none of the Premier League teams have made a formal approach yet, sources maintain they are watching the situation. Khalaili, who has 16 caps for Israel, joined the Belgian club from Maccabi Haifa in July 2024 for a reported €6.5 million. His contract runs until 2028. His current Transfermarkt market value is €23.00m, and a €15 million bid from Napoli was reportedly rejected in May-June 2026.
