The 20-year-old has reportedly become less favored by the Serie A side, and they could be open to his sale as he is not seen as a key part of Roberto D’Aversa’s first-team plans. Stoke City are set to compete with Wolves for Alieu Njie.

Journalist Ben Jacobs reported that Stoke City was interested in Alieu Njie during the January transfer window. Stoke City could renew their interest in the Torino winger in the summer, and more transfer interest is anticipated. Njie's current limited playing time could result in a departure this summer. His estimated weekly pay is £9,296, placing him near the bottom of Torino's wage structure. This is a factor for Stoke to consider if they renew their interest.
