Despite being unable to play due to an injury for two months at the beginning of the year, Mayor has successfully retained his spot in the starting eleven. This is the player's second loan from Millwall, following a period at Bromley last season, and his contract with his parent club is valid until 2027. If Cambridge United achieves promotion, it is possible that Mayor could return for another loan next season, a move that Harris would likely support.
