Adam Forshaw, a 34-year-old English central midfielder, has said he would love to stay for the next season. His contract with Rovers expires at the end of the campaign and he is currently due to become a free agent in late June. Forshaw has not yet signed an extension with the Lancashire side and his situation is uncertain. He wants to remain at Ewood Park for another year at least and he has said, according to a report by BBC Sport, that he had loved it there, thought the people were great, had settled really well, had a great relationship with everyone involved with the squad, and would love to stay. Blackburn Rovers are unable to make any contract decisions until they know what division they will be in. Forshaw joined the club on January 11, 2025, and has made 19 appearances in the Championship this season, scoring one goal. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €200k.
