Youri Baas, a 23-year-old Dutch defender, is on a list of candidates at Bologna. The club is looking for a new left-footed defender to replace Jhon Lucumí after his €20 million transfer to Juventus. Bologna may propose a loan with an option to buy, but the chance of Ajax agreeing to such a deal is considered small. Voetbal International reported several days ago that Ajax would be willing to cooperate with a departure if an interesting offer is made. Baas is also reportedly attracting interest from Germany, and several sources have mentioned Eintracht Frankfurt as a potential suitor. Baas, who has yet to be capped by the Netherlands, joined Ajax in January 2023 and has a contract that runs until June 2028. His current Transfermarkt market value is €20.00m. Reports from May 2026 suggested Ajax could seek a fee of more than €20 million for the player.
