Jasper Cillessen, a 37-year-old Dutch international goalkeeper, is set to sign a contract with Go Ahead Eagles that will last until the end of the season. Cillessen has been without a club since July 2026 and was also linked with Juventus. He is expected to improve the quality in goal for the Deventer-based club, as new signing Kjetil Haug has not been convincing. The goalkeeper, who has 65 caps, had originally hoped for a two-year deal. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €200k.
