According to reports, Swansea City remain interested in signing Sporting Charleroi midfielder Yacine Titraoui, after the Algerian international turned down a proposed move to Olympiacos despite an €8 million deal having been agreed with the Greek club. Olympiacos FC is offering Titraoui the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League, a four-year contract that would make him one of the club's highest-paid players, and the possibility of a future transfer to Nottingham Forest. It is therefore considered unlikely that Titraoui will choose Swansea. Swansea are expected to be a mid-table Championship side. Titraoui has five caps for Algeria. Last season, he made 50 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
