Bundesliga club Augsburg has made inquiries about Lech Poznań's central defender, Wojciech Mońka. FC Kopenhaga has also shown interest, but for both clubs, the Polish champions' high asking price is considered a potential obstacle. The 19-year-old has attracted attention from other teams as well. Espanyol had discussions with the player's agents, first proposing €6 million plus bonuses and later over €8 million, but these amounts were not sufficient to begin talks with Lech Poznań. While Saudi club Al-Qadsiah was also linked, a move there is reportedly not an option for the player. A Polish U21 international, Mońka joined Lech Poznan in April 2024 and is under contract until 2029. His current market value is €10 million, according to Transfermarkt. Reports from June 2026 stated Lech Poznań's minimum asking price was €10 million, while in August 2026 it was reported that Al-Qadsiah would be willing to pay over €12 million.
