William Bøving is nearing a move from Mainz 05 to 1. FC Nürnberg shortly before the transfer deadline. The 23-year-old Danish offensive player is expected to join on a loan deal without a purchase option. Bøving had transferred to Mainz a year ago from Sturm Graz for €3.5 million and appeared in just nine Bundesliga matches last season. His contract with Mainz expires on June 30, 2029. For the Denmark U21 national team, he has made 22 appearances and scored 3 goals. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.50m.
