According to reporter Pete O’Rourke, Middlesbrough and fellow Championship promotion-chasers Ipswich Town both made unsuccessful offers for Will Lankshear in January. The 20-year-old striker is on loan at Oxford United from Spurs. He had the chance to join either club but opted to stay and complete the season with Oxford.
