Internacional is one of three Brazilian clubs interested in signing Southampton defender Welington. Flamengo and Palmeiras are also reportedly interested. The 25-year-old Brazilian left-back has made only 17 Championship appearances this season. Welington joined the English side on a free transfer in January 2025 on a contract until at least 2027 with an option for a further year. A report suggests he could be traded before his contract ends. He has one cap for Brazil U23, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €3.00m.
