Welington has attracted interest from Internacional, which is now trying to sign him. His contract at Southampton expires on June 30th, and there is no fee to negotiate. Welington has not played consistently this season due to injuries and competition from Ryan Manning.

Internacional is one of three Brazilian clubs interested in signing Southampton defender Welington. Flamengo and Palmeiras are also reportedly interested. The 25-year-old Brazilian left-back has made only 17 Championship appearances this season.
