Valentin Mihăilă Transfer from Parma to Rizespor

Valentin Mihaila is leaving Parma and Italy to join Rizespor in Turkey. The player's agent, Giovanni Becali, confirmed that the deal is almost done, with Mihaila already in Istanbul. After medical examinations, Mihaila will sign a 4-year contract with Rizespor. The transfer is a permanent one, with Parma retaining a percentage of any future resale, which reduced the purchase price. Mihaila will earn 20-25% more than he did in Italy. The move is seen as a second chance for Mihaila to make a mark in top-level football.

Valentin Mihaila appears to be on the brink of departing Parma, as Rizespor's 2 million euro offer was accepted by the Gialloblù. The club proposed a 4-year contract to Mihaila, with an annual salary of 1.2 million euros. Parma's new coach, Cuesta, excluded Mihaila from the Neustiff retreat, signaling that he is not in the team's plans. Consequently, the 25-year-old is set to part ways with the club, viewing the offer from Turkey as a promising opportunity. Mihaila had also caught the attention of Cremonese and Lecce, though Lecce reportedly did not consider him a primary target. This was indicated by Giovanni Becali, who spoke of discussions with Pantaleo Corvino from Lecce. Mihaila's current contract with Parma remains valid until June 30, 2027, and he has made 106 appearances, scoring 15 goals for the team.
