A source with links to the agents industry stated that both Atlético Madrid and Bayern Munich have been monitoring the player, and that Chelsea also looked at him during the summer. The same source added that with Barco under contract at Strasbourg until 2029, the club is in a strong position and will demand a significant fee if an approach is made. The midfielder, who has one cap for Argentina, joined the French club in July 2025 and has one goal and four assists in 13 Ligue 1 appearances. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €15.00m.
