Vitória announced on Friday the signing of Toni Borevkovic for its central defense. The 29-year-old Croatian central defender is rejoining the club on loan from the Turkish team Samsunspor. This marks a return for Borevkovic, who left Vitória for Turkish football approximately one year ago. He had previously made 100 official appearances for the club. His contract with Samsunspor is valid until June 30, 2028, and his current market value is €2.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Borevkovic has also been capped three times for the Croatia U21 team.
