The club is seeking a new club for the player, who has earned 10 caps for Nigeria, in the upcoming transfer window. Arokodare is contracted until 2029, but his time with the club, which he joined in September 2025, might conclude before the contract's end date. Wolverhampton might accept an offer between 15 and 18 million euros to expedite a resolution. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 22 million euros, but relegation and internal tensions are factors favouring a rapid sale. It is reported that the club paid €26 million for the player and rejected a €15 million offer from Beşiktaş in January 2026. The player has recently been associated with Turkish clubs Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe.
