Tolu Arokodare Transfer from Genk to Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolverhampton Wanderers is reportedly interested in signing Tolu Arokodare from KRC Genk. Arokodare has enjoyed a successful season, having scored 21 goals and been awarded the 'Ebbenhouten Schoen'. Wolverhampton has reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Arokodare for a contract extending until 2030. Genk is seeking around 25 million euros for the player, although the expected deal is anticipated to be approximately 20 million pounds (23.2 million euros). Negotiations are still ongoing concerning payment terms and bonuses. Wolverhampton is in search of a second striker, and it is noted that this transfer is not connected to Jørgen Strand Larsen. The potential departure of Hwang Hee-chan is currently at a standstill. The transfer is expected to be completed before the closure of the summer transfer window, which would secure a significant profit for Genk, who initially signed Arokodare for about 5 million euros. The move follows Arokodare's remarkable performance under coach Thorsten Fink, which turned his early struggles at Genk into an outstanding season.
