Rayo Vallecano has expressed interest in acquiring French attacking midfielder Thomas Lemar, having initiated preliminary inquiries regarding his availability. L'Equipe reported that Atlético de Madrid is open to releasing Lemar from his contract to ease his transfer, as the club no longer considers him part of their plans and is eager to reduce their wage bill. Although Girona is in active discussions about a loan arrangement and stands as the most interested party, Rayo Vallecano, along with Osasuna and Celta de Vigo, has also shown interest in the 29-year-old player, whose contract is valid until 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €5.00 million.
