The Sun has reported that Burnley is interested in re-signing Taylor Harwood-Bellis from Southampton. It is said that Burnley boss Scott Parker is eager to bring Harwood-Bellis back for a second stint at Turf Moor. Harwood-Bellis reportedly wants to remain in the Premier League following Southampton's relegation. Burnley is considering either purchasing him outright or arranging a loan deal with an option to buy. The 23-year-old defender previously played a key role in helping Burnley secure promotion under Vincent Kompany during a loan period from Manchester City in the 2022-23 season. With Burnley having lost CJ Egan-Riley to Marseille due to a contract dispute, the return of Harwood-Bellis would address a significant gap in the squad. At the same time, West Ham is also said to have an interest in Harwood-Bellis but would only pursue a transfer if a gap arises, given their constrained budget.
