Team Talk reported that scouts from English Championship clubs are monitoring the progress of Tawanda Maswanhise.

Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou insisted the club have no plans to sell 23-year-old Zimbabwean winger Tawanda Maswanhise during the January transfer window. Berthel Askou stated the club are yet to receive any bids for Tawanda Maswanhise. The manager said there has been interest in Motherwell players already in the summer window and that this interest has been growing. According to Berthel Askou, there is potential in Tawanda Maswanhise that needs to grow with Motherwell for now, and there is a lot of attention on the player. The winger joined Motherwell in August 2024 and has a contract until May 2026. He has been in impressive form in the Scottish Premiership this season, with 10 goals and 2 assists in 19 appearances. Maswanhise has 17 caps for Zimbabwe and has recently been linked with clubs including Celtic and Rangers. His current Transfermarkt market value is €700k.
