Derby County are monitoring Sheffield Wednesday's 27-year-old Swedish midfielder, Svante Ingelsson, who is also the subject of significant interest from other clubs. An initial offer for the player from Millwall was recently rejected. The bid was reported to be approximately £300,000, an amount the Yorkshire club considered to be significantly below his value. Wednesday had also previously rejected an offer from Portsmouth. Ingelsson might still depart before the deadline on Monday, as Sheffield Wednesday may have to consider appropriate offers to generate funds during a lengthy takeover process. Ingelsson became a member of the club in July 2024 and has made 14 appearances and scored two goals for the Sweden U21 team. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €1.00m.
