Jagiellonia Białystok is interested in signing 24-year-old Cape Verdean-Portuguese central midfielder Sidnei Tavares from Blackburn Rovers. This interest follows a statement from the Polish club's sporting director, Radosław Kucharski, who confirmed they were looking to strengthen their midfield. Blackburn Rovers, who previously signed Tavares for two million euros, would likely want to recoup at least half of that transfer fee. Tavares joined Blackburn in July 2025 and is under contract until June 2028. He has yet to be capped by Cape Verde, and his current market value is €1.80m, according to Transfermarkt.
